  LIBRARY RULES
  • The library will remain open on all working days from 7:45 AM to 05:15 PM
  • On Saturdays the library is open from 7:45 AM to 02:15 PM
  • Library will remain open during the study holidays. ID is mandatory to enter inside the library.
  • Strict silence shall be observed in the library.
  • College dress code is applicable while visiting library on all occasion.
  • Usage of cellphone is prohibited.
  • No Due slip will be given before university exams.
  • The borrower’s ticket is not transferable.
  • The loss of Library borrower’s ticket will invite a fine of Rs. 50 .
  • Students must produce their ID and Library ticket to borrow books.
  • Request for books has to be made one day in advance based on the prescribed requisition slips.
  • Books must not be damaged, written on, torn or tampered,in case of any damages will lead to pay the full cost price of the same book.
  • Magazines and Journals are meant for study only in the library.
  • No personal possessions should be carried inside the library.
  • Once the books are issued,it is requested to be kept outside the library
  BOOKS FOR ISSUE
  • Books placed in the reference rack will not be issued.
  • UG Students - Books placed in the stack section are issued to students for 7 days. They have to renew the book. If issued books are returned after the due date a fine of Rs 2/- will be collected per day. Students can renew a book for one time.
  • PG Students - Booksbooks placed in the stack section are issued to students for 7 days. Books returned after the due date a fine of Rs. 2/- will be collected. Students can renew a book for one time.
  • Staffs - Booksbooks placed in the stack section are issued to students for 15 days. Staffs can renew a book for two times.
  • In case if the book is lost, it should be brought to the notice of the librarian and same book should be replaced immediately.
  • Anyone who losses book must pay the cost price of the book or replace it with the new book.
  BORROWING BOOKS
  • The Borrowing section is separate from the reference section.
  • From the Borrowing section, books can be issued for a period of 10 days; and should be returned or renewed.
  • For UG Students 2 books will be issued, for PG students 4 books will be issued against his/her ID and for Staffs 10 books will be issued.
  REFERENCE BOOKS
The users of Library have to follow certain manners for common good.They are:
  • Books from the reference rack are to be used only in the library and replaced properly accordingly where you have taken.
  • Reference books are not issued to students
  • An overnight issue is possible on request.
  • Projects are for reference in the library.
