Collection building is one of the important functions of library that supports academic & research work of the students, faculty, staff & other users. Library collection comprising of books, journals ,case studies, CD-ROMs, reports & reading material in Engineering Technology, Law, Social Sciences & Management. The Three sections have been established such as Skill Zone, Competitive Exam corner & Language Section(Kannada, Hindi & Sanskrit).

  COMPUTERIZED INFORMATION RETRIEVAL:      SALIENT FEATURES:

Considering the importance of computerization, the LKC has setup an Information Centre. The library has prepared a database of books and periodicals in different subjects. The house- keeping activities like Acquisition, Serial control, Cataloguing, Circulation, OPAC have been automated by using “LIBSOFT” Software.

LKC provides Barcode Technology for speedy transfer of information to the user .The Library has adopted this system to provide timely services to their users.

The digital Library is equipped with 43 computers connected with Internet for users to search & browse information on electronic database, e-journals, e-books as well as CD/DVD’s (Accompany with books).
